Breast implant sponsorship backfires

FIDE’s announcement of Establishment Labs, a producer of breast implants, as sponsor of women’s chess is drawing lots of criticism. Lichess gathered statements from female players, mostly anonymous. Chess.com announced that it considers this sponsorshop as not positive for women’s chess and inappropriate and will not feature it in its future reporting.
