Corsica to host Mitropa Cup

Corte, an old town in the heart of Corsica, has been chosen as venue of the Mitropa Cup 2022 on 27 April to 8 May. The ten participating federations have recently founded the Mitropa Chess Association to also collaborate on school chess and other projects. The Italian arbiter and lawyer Marco Biagioli is the President, the Austrian Walter Kastner is the General Secretary.
