Van den Herik heads Max Euwe Centrum

Jaap van den Herik, who worked together with the late Max Euwe before becoming a professor of computer science himself and contributed in many roles to the development of computer chess, is the new chairman of the Max Euwe Centrum in Amsterdam. He follows Paul van der Sterren who continues as ambassador.
